Our Mission
To collaborate with our community, businesses and government to provide supportive, recreational, cultural, sporting and disability welfare programs that meet the diverse needs of our participants.
Our Philosophy
Your disability is only one part of who you are; Supportive Care Australia is here to help you overcome any limitations and challenges. You are in control of your life, and there are many ways to improve and maintain your independence, sense of empowerment and outlook. Regardless of your disability, you can overcome challenges and enjoy a full and fulfilling life.
Empowerment Through Knowledge
You are your own best advocate in navigating life with a disability. By educating yourself about your rights and available resources, you empower yourself to make informed choices and take control of your life.
SIL housing is an NDIS-funded shared accommodation model. Our staff assists participants with daily tasks, tailoring support to individual needs to help develop skills for independent living.
Our community access service provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to participate in social, recreational and educational activities within their community, helping to enhance their quality of life and independence.
Our domestic support services assist individuals with disabilities in managing household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and laundry, promoting a safe and comfortable living environment while fostering independence and daily living skills.
Through our NDIS services, we provide personalised support for individuals with disabilities, covering areas like SIL, community nursing and community participation. The Australian and state/territory governments co-fund the NDIS model.
Community nursing offers essential healthcare services at home for individuals with disabilities, including wound care, medication management and health monitoring. This promotes better health outcomes and independence.
Rights: We are committed to supporting everyone in exercising their right to choice and control over their lives. Everyone living with a disability has the right and freedom to participate in social and cultural activities and maintain safe relationships.
Support & engagement: We help ensure our participants receive the appropriate support to succeed. By empowering participants to make choices about their daily activities, they gain more control and input into how they live their lives.
